Teledata is a Lebanese company in the field of personal computer distribution, 
assembly,support and services. 

The Company distributes most international brands of PC'S, Notebooks, Scanners, 
Printers, Ups, Accessories and Video Editing  equipement . 

Teledata was established in 1983 as a distributor of Star Micronics printers and a dealer 
for Sinclaire , Commodore , Oric and Atari home computers.

In the following years, Teledata added Apple , Sanyo , Memotech and Olivetti computers 
to its line of products. 
With the introduction of IBM   PCs , Teledata   started the line of IBM   compatible  
computers  with a brand called Amigo . 

Later on, Teledata started to assemble  IBM compatible PCs based on Intel 8088 CPU 
most items were imported from Taiwan with Seagate hard disk drives from U.S.A  and 
Thomson monitors from Singapore. 

Teledata at that time  was  the exclusive distributor of Thomson monitors. 

Due to the currency rates fluctuations during the civil war in Lebanon, Teledata imported 
the core of the system implemented by Cedarnet for displaying the currency rates in 
most lebanese banks & foreign exchange centers. 

In 1989 Teledata   became the sole distributor of Seagate hard disk drives in Lebanon. 

During the latest civil war , Teledata was forced to close for more than a  year and a lot 
of losses were encountered at its showroom near Almaza. It reopened after the war was 
over and business boomed for several year. 

With this boom Teledata decided to expand into a new permises in jdeideh . 

For the last few years Teledata has managed to play a major role in computer 
distribution business importing most of the products from Germany, Netherlands, 
Greece, Dubai, Taiwan, China etc… 

Teledata is regarded now as the most important player in the field of Video Editing 
products being the sole distributor of Pinnacle systems. 

Moreover, Teledata was appointed by Intel as premier provider for its role in sales and 
services of Intel based computers. 

Teledata is about to celebrate its 25th anniversary with about 30 employees serving in 
sales, distributions and technical support in the field of PCs, Servers, Notebooks, 
Network solutions,Video editing products, Accessories and furniture.
